Zurawski’s Grandson and the “Walk for Food Allergy – Moving Toward a Cure” (Posted 9/25/08)
Sunday, November 30, 2008
With millions of Americans suffering from food allergy and more children being diagnosed every day, it’s now more important than ever to find a cure. By showing your support through individual or corporate sponsorship, you are contributing to the vital mission of finding a cure for food allergy.
Nathan Zurawski, four-year-old grandson of Classmates Dan & Mary Lou (Trgovich) Zurawski is walking on Saturday, September 26, 2008, in Indianapolis, IN to support awareness about food allergies. If you can, please support him. Nathan will be joining thousands of others from all locations who will walk for a day of fun, benefiting a great cause. He has had various food allergies since birth. There is a picture of him on the site.
Food allergies are becoming an increasing problem in children today. Many programs need to be implemented in our country. Example: In the U.S., non-peanut food or candy can be cross contaminated because both are allowed to be manufactured on the same processing line. In Canada, this is not allowed and if you buy a Kit Kat bar or any other type of food it will not have that warning because the processing lines are segregated.
The organization needs money to help these children. With every step, we are Moving Toward a Cure! Won't you help?
To donate to Nathan's cause, please go to www.foodallergy.org and click on “walk for food allergy.” To find Nathan’s site, click on Indianapolis and enter Nathan Zurawski as the walker. The foundation appreciates your contribution as do the Zurawski family. If you wish to contact Dan/Mary Lou Zurawski, they may be reached at danrxman@msn.com.
Best wishes to Little Nathan, we applaud his participation in this event and we wish him well.
