Mother of Classmate Richard Rybicki Has Died (Posted 12/29/08)

Loretta M. Rybicki (nee Jonkier), age 88, of Hammond, IN passed away December 23, 2008. She is survived by her son, Richard (Rosemary) Rybicki of Columbus, IN; daughters: Nancy (John) Teles of Lisle, IL, Maryann (Stuart) Zuckerman of Park Forest, IL and Carol (fiance David) Furman of Hammond, IN; son, Thomas Rybicki; seven grandchildren: Michelle Furman of St. Louis, MO, Katie and Jennifer Furman of Hammond, IN, Ken and Scott Zuckerman of Park Forest, IL, Debbie Strouse of Highland, IN and Thomas Rybicki of Sauk Village, IL; brother-in-law, Alex Kaleta of Hammond, IN; sister-in-law, Rexie Roszkowski of Whiting, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rybicki was preceded in death by her husband, Stan Rybicki; brother, Ed Jonkier; and aunt, Stella Popaditch. Funeral Mass held December 27, 2008, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Highland, IN, Rev. Edward Moszur officiating. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Wake for friends to meet with the family held Friday, 2-8PM, at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road Highland, IN. Prayer service Friday, 3:30 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Rybicki was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church of Highland. She enjoyed baking, sewing and needlepoint. Memorial contributions may be made in Loretta's loving memory to the Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village, 221 W. Division, Demotte, IN 46310.
