Kathy (Fabian) Seremet is a teacher with the Public School System in Farmington, Michigan, where she proudly earned the “Teacher of the Year” award in 2002. Kathy tells us, “On a recent trip to Washington, DC with my 8th graders, we stopped at the Vietnam Memorial and I took the attached photo of David Polich’s name. If any of our classmates remember him, I thought they might like to see these.” Included with Kathy’s note were two photos taken from the Vietnam Wall. To view these, just click on the Photo Album Section of our www.bniclassof1965.com class website.
Living in the world’s greatest country would not be possible without the sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, many giving their lives for the very freedoms we all sometimes take for granted. Dave Polich never saw a day beyond our teen years, as he died at age of 19, the only member of our BNI Class of 1965 to die in Vietnam.
