Mother of Classmate Cheryle Slamkowski Has Died (Posted 4-16-09)

Priscilla Slamkowski, age 87, late of Darien, IL, formerly of Munster, IN.  Loving mother of Cheryle Slamkowski and Carol (Stan) Kwasny; proud and loving grandmother of Jennifer (Adam) Costanza and Michelle Kwasny; dear sister of the late John Konkoly, Irene Szaller and Gaza Konkoly; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Priscilla was retired from Inland Steel, East Chicago, IN after 35 years of service.  She embraced the beauty of life and was devoted to family and friends.  She was beloved by all and will always be remembered as loving, caring, thoughtful and kind.  Services were private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Arrangements by DuPage Cremations, Ltd. and Memorial Chapel 800-588-1132.  (Posted in The Times – Hammond 4-16-09).
