Dave Nemcevic Dies in Hammond (Posted 6-26-09)

  Peter David Nemcevic, III, age 62, of Hammond, entered into eternal life on Monday, June 22, 2009 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carole (nee Chlebowski); three sons: Christopher David Nemcevic, Peter David (Amanda) Nemcevic, IV and Joseph David Nemcevic all of Hammond; three grandchildren: Blake, Alexis and Nikolas Nemcevic; two sisters: Carol Nemcevic of Highland and Susan (Larry) Wolotka of Munster; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Peter David, II and Ann Nemcevic.

 

A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Peter David Nemcevic, III will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7132 Arizona Ave., Hammond (Hessville), IN with Rev. Charles Mosley celebrant. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday morning one hour prior to the service from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church.

 

Dave was born on February 9, 1947 in East Chicago and lived in the Hessville section of Hammond for 34 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Dave worked as a biomedical technician for Adam Benjamin VA Clinic in Crown Point and was a member of the Biomedical Society. He had a keen interest in computers and loved playing golf. Dave was a devoted and loving husband and father, and beloved grandfather to those who called him "Baba". He will be dearly missed by his family and dear friends.
