Oh, wait, that’s how the “song” goes, but, we need to say here, “Oh what a beautiful Evening.”  Yes, our Local Jiver Get-Together on July 22, 2009, proved to be a perfect summer’s night and the “patio was ours” at the Northwoods in Schererville, IN.  Amidst food and beverages, it was interesting to realize that one “long distance” classmate friend could cause 16 folks to have such a great evening filled with stars, stories and smiles.  Bob Kukula Kingsley and his lovely wife Elaine traveled from New Jersey to visit Bob’s folks and if his folks had as nice a visit as we did, it was a wonderful trip indeed.  Thanks, Bob, for being the stimulant that made this event happen!  Attendees:  Elaine Engle Bielefeld, Eileen McKern, Cheryl Watts Lorance, Linda Szymanski Colter, Barb Straka Culp, Barb Hines Lail, Bob Backe, Walt Kopach, Bob Kudnowski Kaye, Dan Hoffman, Tory Hudspeth, Jim Wieser, Annette & Rick Dorn, and Bob & Elaine Kukula Kingsley.  (Note:  For pics, see PHOTO ALBUM Section).
