Gloria Briseno White

Gloria White moved to Tucson in 2001 from San Diego to join the Omni Tucson National Resort sales team. While in San Diego she had served as the Executive Director of the Del Mar Chamber of Commerce and then worked as a National Sales Manager with the San Diego Convention & Visitors’ Bureau.

Most recently, she was the Membership Director for the Oro Valley Country Club and the Business Development Director for the Greater Oro Valley Arts Council. The opportunity to return to a Chamber of Commerce position and membership sales combined was one that she could not pass up.

She has been active with the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce, volunteering on the Ambassador and Events Committees for the last several years.   She found NPCCC to be one of the best networking organizations in the northwest area of Tucson and a great assist to her in her sales positions.  She is also on the Foundation Board of the So. Arizona Humane Society and a CTA (Certified Tourism Ambassador) with the Metro Tucson Convention & Visitors’ Bureau.
Gloria is originally from Indiana and has been in the hospitality and public relations industries for as long as she can remember. As she looks back she recalls just how fortunate she has been with her selection of career positions. At one time or another, she has been responsible for many multi-million dollar contracts and has had the privilege of working with major corporate accounts, i.e., Microsoft , Mitsubishi Motors, Nike , to name a few, while traveling extensively, both nationally and internationally.
She finally settled in Del Mar, CA where she has lived for the major part of her life and still maintains a home there. Coming to Tucson was not planned, but now she feels it was a great decision and has her primary home here, right near the resort that first brought her to Tucson.
Joining the staff of the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce in August will be the best decision yet for her and she looks forward to a long, happy and prosperous relationship. Yes, even in this economy, she says the one safe investment to make is with your Chamber.
