Mary M. Baker, age 94 of Dyer, IN passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010. She is survived by her children: Alice (Jim) Storey of Crown Point, IN, Wayne "Butch" (Marsha) Baker of Brook, IN and Mary Ann (Jim) Fiegle of Dyer, IN.

Eight grandchildren: Karen (Mike) Rennich of Elkridge, MD, Catherine (Timothy) Kent) Baker of Chicago, IL, Dr. Shawn (Dr. Brooke) Baker of Albuquerque, NM, Denise (Lester) Bowers of Conroe, TX, Nicole (Brian) Wojtkowiak of Henderson, NV, Lisa Reinoehl of Westfield, IN, Dave (Robyn) Fiegle of St. John, IN and Jason (Susanne) Baker of Crown Point, IN.

Ten great grandchildren: Nathan, Alex and Samuel Rennich, Saxon and Emery Baker, Aubrey Bowers, Roman and Rachel Wojtkowiak, and Haliegh and Jack Reinoehl; daughters-in- law: Rita Baker of Martinsburg, WV and Janette Baker of Las Vegas, NV.

Preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Frederick; sons: Fred and Mark; and granddaughter, Marisa.

Visitation held Friday, April 30, 2010 at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart Street, Dyer, IN from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.  Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Dyer with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.   Burial at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was lovingly taken care of by her husband for many years. Her life was centered around the church and her family. She made delicious pies and loved to play the piano and sing. In her younger years, she played baseball. Memorials to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
